Holiday Childcare

Finding affordable childcare during the school holidays can be a challenge for many parents, but our holiday club is here to help you and your family.

We run our Holiday Club during school holidays from our St Marks Road and Brackensdale settings in Derby. The Holiday Clubs are open from 8am - 6pm, although we can accommodate 7.30am drop-offs at an additional charge at St Marks Road. The club is available for children aged 5 – 14 years, and throughout the day we provide a wide range of fun and exciting age-appropriate activities for all of the children to enjoy, including trips out.

We have a variety of sessions available, from a full week to individual morning or afternoon sessions, and bookings typically open 4 weeks before each holiday. Payment must be made to confirm the place. To learn more about current availability and pricing for our next holiday club, please get in touch.

Our Next Club

Due to current restrictions, we are unable to run our Holiday Club this February half term. We very much hope to be able to welcome children back for the Easter holidays for a full programme of exciting activities. Please get in touch if you would like to be added to our mailing list to receive regular updates about our holiday clubs throughout the year. Our clubs are suitable for children aged 5 to 14 years and operate from 8.00am – 6pm, although we can accommodate earlier drop-offs at an additional charge.

St Marks Road

St Marks Road is our central Derwent Stepping Stones setting and has a wide range of resources and facilities to provide early education, adult education and school holiday childcare in Derby. All children attending our St Marks Road Holiday Club will get to enjoy the bright and spacious environment indoors and our play area and wonderful forest garden outdoors, all under the guidance and supervision of our highly trained and talented childcare staff. Out and About

While at the St Marks Road Holiday Club, children will enjoy a full programme of seasonal activities including crafts, games, cooking and sports, but where we can we like to arrange exciting trips out for the children too. For a change of scenery and to enjoy activities that we can’t put on in St Marks Road itself, our trips out can be a real highlight for the children attending the holiday club. In the past, we’ve enjoyed fun new films at our local cinema, playing games in and exploring local parks, and even roller-skating at a nearby rink.
